We had a great time with our special guests on Tuesday! They sat with us at Mass, had donuts with us for breakfast, and played book BINGO with us. We are so blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives! The whole school participated in a donation casual day on Wednesday to support breast cancer research!
We have had so much fun learning about our Moon! We had a fun time helping our buddies put together a scarecrow craft! After our craft, we read books together.
We met our preschool buddies today! We helped them with a fire safety booklet and then danced to songs with them. We had so much fun and can’t wait to see them again! Here are some examples of the Science projects the 6th graders completed and presented to the class. They are so creative!
While reading chapter 14 of The Giver book during Literature class, we talked about hunger. The main character, Jonas, experiences the pain of hunger for the first time. As a class, we watched the following clip and discussed what we should be doing as Christians when this happens to others. Feel free to watch together at home. On Fridays, we have drop everything and read to build our reading stamina. We turn the lights off and read by flashlight. This month, we pray the Rosary each Friday afternoon.
