Here are some pictures from our fun day today!
Today is the last Wednesday in March, which is Reading Month. So, today was "Dress Like a Book Character" Day. Everyone who wanted to participate was asked to dress like a character from a book and bring the book with that character in it to school. The book character could be a real person or a fictional character.

On Friday, April 29, 2022, the middle school (grades 6-8) will be going to the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum. All students were given permission slips already, and Mrs. Treusch has extras in her room if anyone needs another hard copy. If a parent or guardian of a student would like to be a chaperone on the field trip, please fill out the first form (printed in white paper). Once Mrs. Treusch has received all the forms by Friday, April 8th, she will randomly choose chaperones. So, if you'd like to be considered for a chaperone position, please fill that first form out and have your student bring it back to school as soon as possible. If you are not interested or not available in chaperoning, you do not need to fill out the first form. The second form (printed on pink paper) needs to be filled out and signed and brought back to Mrs. Treusch. If a student is not able to go to the field trip, an alternate assignment will be provided for them, which will be graded by Mrs. Treusch for a Science grade. If you have any questions, feel free to email Mrs. Treusch.
Students now have two extra credit opportunities for March is Reading Month: one for Literature class and one for Spelling/Vocabulary class. See the attached documents (or the paper copies that will come home with your students) for more information. |
